My friends and I had just come from a concert in Kihei and walked to the beach to look for shooting stars.

As we were looking up at the sky we saw a shooting star to the left. Immediately after we all saw what looked like a large white boomerang glowing object. It whooshed in front and above us right over the water. It appeared to glide around without making any noise. The light it gave off was white-yellowish. I said, "Do you guys see that?" What is it a bird? We all agreed it was a large glowing object. As soon as we said that it made a hard left hand turn and disappeared. We continued to talk about what it might be and watched the sky as clouds seemed to gather in the sky around us. We saw one more shooting star then went inside.
