| At around 10pm I saw a bright orange light with small blinking lights on either side moving from the north-west to the south-east. I had my telescope outside with me because it was a cloudless night and I was looking at the moon. I tried to observe the object through the scope, but couldn't get a fix on it. I thought it was a plane at first due to the blinking lights, but it stopped just above my house. It then slowly disappeared and never returned. I've never seen any plane or helicopter with a bright orange light. And if it was a helicopter coming to a hover, then I can't explain why all the lights would disappear. | |
