| Me, my brother and two other kids came out of an alley by the Chicago NW railroad and saw a silver saucer shaped metallic object hovering about 15 feet over the railroad tracks. No sound, only about 2 ft in diameter, moved after a while about 50 yards down the track as we walked alongside, then in a matter of about 10 seconds ascended into the clouds from ground level. Never made a sound, broad daylight, close enough to throw stones at it if we dared. In 1958 I don't know of anything that could have operated as it did. Clearly felt like it was remote controlled by intelligent operators. | |
