| From the north it appeared as a bright light, I believed it to be the landing lights on a large aircraft. However, as the vehicle continue to the south the intensity of the light did not change until it was well south of the our location. At the time it disappeared it flashed and then went dark like a light bulb burning out. No sound and it was large. I have studied aircraft all my life and this is the first then in the sky I could not identify. I grew up as an Air Force Brat and spent 20 years in the Air Force myself. I have never seen anything like this. normal landing lights will change intensity once they pass you so that they are facing away. These lights did not change, they were bright. Earlier in the day I observed a tethered ballon in the western sky from Tombstone, maybe over Fort Hauchuaca (sp) howver this moved and went across the sky from north to south. Oh well thats my story. | |
